Lubes or Gels

Question...

Anyone have recommendations
For lubes or gels
That are hot or cold

Like ginger or pepermint?

Where do you get them?
Brands you recommend or don't?
Advice or cautionary tales?

Totally interested and if we find some...

I'll tell you the tales :-)

  2. We had one that was warming, it gave me an infection, so I haven't been willing to try anything else of the like.

Coconut oil all the way! :) Oh, I just had an idea, maybe you could get creative and make your own...soak some ginger in coconut oil, or put essential oil in it...I wonder if that would work...

    1. Yikes - that's aweful! I had planned to put some essential oils in some fractionated coconut oil and...we'll see :)

  3. I will be interested in what you find out. Wouldn't ginger burn to bad - kind of like figging?

  4. There is one warming one that we buy at the dollar tree of all places, Warming Touch, I think it is called. I like that it lasts a long time, and Sir likes the warming sensation. We typically use it if I am manually stimulating him. We are careful if we use it on me, since it can really hurt if we're going at it rough sometimes.

  5. Hi, there! I'm a lurker who enjoys your blog from time to time, but I saw this question and had to mention my favorite thing - Burt's Bees Peppermint Lip Balm. Doesn't do anything as a lube, but it gives a wonderful tingly heat to your clit, labia, or anus. Builds slowly, lasts a while. Milder than figging, but in that family. I LOVE it!

I've never had a bad reaction to it, but I don't tend to be sensitive to most things, so you might want to spot test first. I would think something made to go on your mouth would be fairly nontoxic.
