A Glowing Spot

In the living room, sir sits in his chair.

I'm kneeling in front of him with my head in his lap.

He tells me he wants me to go up to our room,

undress, get out the toy box and lay over the bed.

He asks if I understand and I say yes.

Standing, he adds,

I was so proud, I did not argue,
