I've read a lot of posts that say I can't remember what happened...
I've had MANY scenes where I can't remember what happened...
I remember feelings, small snippets, but not enough for the whole scene.
When I thought about blogging,
I remember Conina mentioning taking notes.
Seriously...doesn't that take something out of the experience?
Well...for me...
No.
OK, so here's the thing.
When I orgasm, typically I have an adrenaline rush that
...leaves me
...AWAKE.
Not always, but um...80-90% of the time!
So, frequently, after I clean up, and snuggle and Sir is sound asleep...
I.....
take notes
WHY the fuck would I do that??
Well...it's fun for the blog AND
I enjoy reliving what happened as I go back and type up my post.
So...Here's my cliff notes version of my last scene:
NOTES FROM
The Crop and My Flight of Surrender
Playful tap
Hair
Bed
Spank
Pull down pants and get back in position, now

They are stinging , but never get to burn
Pushes knees apart

But able to comprehend
He pulls me out N now his strikes that are no harder hurt so much more.
Suck cock while crop ass and thighs and feet
Fucks and we cum hard and I vibrate and squeeze
Collapse
This is a fun approach! :) I don't take notes, if I still feel it next time I am near a computer, I describe that. And yes, sometimes I fill in the conversation with paraphrasing. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not always my approach, but frequently. I love remembering what he said or what I was thinking at the time - or sometimes I focus on my exact feelings.

Never thought of actually taking notes. Same thing usually happens here though...I clean up and Daddy falls asleep. As I lie on him, I usually replay what I can remember in my head...savoring it :) I usually write it out the next day. And then post when I'm ready.

Ya, it's my version of playing it over and over in my mind. I have my phone beside the bed and I just type it as I play it in my head :)
DeleteHugs bg,

I do not take notes, I try to write the scene the next day. Sometimes I ask my play partner to help me recall details. I like your note taking short hand. Good idea.

I don't know, I haven't asked Sir to help - this blog is kinda my thing...so I haven't asked. I'm sure he'd help if I asked, I simply feel like I shouldn't burden him with any more than he's burdened with already. IDK, so that's my way of looking at it, I guess. So, I type on my phone which is on the bedside table after he sleeps and I remember tidbits or sequences or quotes that way.

i was just thinking about Conina's mention of note-taking too... mostly cos i can't exactly recall what happened last night.
ReplyDeleteonly, i was too tired after our playtime to go write anything down.
and even if I could remember what happened, the dialogue almost always escapes me. When I (eventually) type it out, it is as Kitty says, more paraphrasing than the actual words spoken.
There are certainly times when I'm wiped out and sleep is immediate - if not sooner =)
DeleteBut, frequently, Sir is asleep and I am AWAKE...so, I pick up my phone and type...it's kinda fun to replay it over in my mind as I do.
hugs,
fiona
WOW great note taking...you must have been a great student. I may have to try the note taking, I tend to post and then think, darn I forgot...
ReplyDeletehugs abby
Ha...well I was more than capable of taking notes, but my prowess as a student was NOT due to note taking :)
DeleteHugs,

I make notes for my blog sometimes too! Not at night, because then I fall straight to sleep afterward, but if we go out to eat, I'll be riding next to him making notes while he drives. It can be hard to remember later what happened, especially if I went to sleep afterward.
ReplyDeleteYea - someone who makes notes too :)
DeleteFor me, sleep claims a LOT of memory, so I'm kinda all seriously fuzzy thereafter...so I like taking notes after he's sound asleep and I'm snuggled safely at his side.
hugs,
fiona
I don't take notes, but I write about it the next opportunity (usually the next day). If I don't write about it immediately, the specifics fade. It gets me excited all over again in the retelling. One specific time there were so many things to recall that I had to ask my partner to help with the order of the things we did and if I had forgotten anything.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the retelling is extraordinarily erotic. I enjoy having a fun story to remember our scene by. It's interesting to look back.
Deletehugs,

I don't usually take the notes so soon. :) I do pretty much what you did there, just the next morning. Immediately afterward I am laying in his arms replaying everything he just said in my head over and over and over and over...
ReplyDeleteAt least, when it's that good. :)
Oh, except sometimes it starts as notes and turns into a whole post.
DeleteYa, I wouldn't take them so soon, but I'm frequently just so awake...while I replay it in my head, I type it into my phone. two birds, one keyboard :)
DeleteHugs,
fiona
Thanks for the great advice, though! You are a fabulous blog-mentor!!
DeleteNote taking is not my forte. I'm either falling into sleep or wide awake but too lazy to write anything down. I repeat in my head what I can remember with the hope something sticks. Writing posts is like those eureka moments - they always happen when you're as far away from where you need to be to capture them successfully. I write great posts in the car. Nothing left by the time I park the car up! :)

I agree about the periodic eureka moments, they happen sometimes if I don't take notes. But if I'm wide awake, I'm within arms reach of my phone, typically...so I lay snuggled with my Sir and quickly type it into my phone...and I'm a wicked fast typist, so that helps.
